Baseball Recap: Spring Hill Find Success

Spring Hill's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Franklin County Rebels 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raiders have posted since April 8, 2024.

Ethan Christie looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Keegan Yoakum was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Will McGlacken was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Spring Hill now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Franklin County, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3.

Coming up, Spring Hill will take on Tullahoma at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Spring Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Franklin County, they will challenge Columbia Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
