Volleyball Recap: Crescent Valley Gets the Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Crescent Valley had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Crater Comets 3-2. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Georgia Vawter paced Crescent Valley's offense, picking up 18 kills. Vawter got some help from Lela Campos and her 56 assists. Campos was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Crescent Valley's victory bumped their record up to 32-4-2. As for Crater, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 19-5.

As of now, neither Crescent Valley nor the Comets have any future games scheduled.
