Everything went their way against Jupiter Christian as Benjamin made off with a 70-50 win. The Buccaneers didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, John Carroll Catholic strolled past South Fork with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 62-45. The win was all the more spectacular given the Rams' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 156th).

Benjamin pushed their record up to 7-12 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for John Carroll Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

Benjamin didn't have too much breathing room in their game against John Carroll Catholic in their previous matchup back in December of 2019, but they still walked away with a 55-49 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Benjamin since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
