Basketball Recap: Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier Drops Season-High Score on Enderlin

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier). They claimed a resounding 70-34 win over the Enderlin Eagles. That's two games straight that the Rangers have won by exactly 36 points.

Enderlin lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Aspyn Schlecht, who posted 13 points. That was a full 38.2% of Enderlin's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jana Olson, who earned nine points.

Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.9 points per game. As for Enderlin, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier will head out to challenge Carrington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Carrington comes in on nine and Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier on four.
