Basketball Recap: Belmont Comes Up Short

Belmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts, falling 73-34. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 641st in Ohio, while the Juggernauts are ranked 14th in Kentucky).

Belmont's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Lloyd Memorial, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 22-6.

As of now, neither Belmont nor Lloyd Memorial have any future games scheduled.
