Softball Game Preview: Lakeridge Pacers vs. Tigard Tigers

The Lakeridge Pacers will face off against the Tigard Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lakeridge has given up an average of 10.5 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lakeridge came up short against West Linn on Monday, falling 14-4. The Pacers haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

FINLEY DICKSON was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was HAYDEN BARNEY, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tigard didn't have quite enough to beat Tualatin on Monday and fell 9-8.

Lakeridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Tigard, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-8.

Lakeridge beat Tigard 7-3 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Pacers repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
