It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but McDonell Central had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They never let the Shell Lake Lakers get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Macks, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

McDonell Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Shell Lake, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-8 record.

As of now, neither McDonell Central nor the Lakers have any future games scheduled.
