Volleyball Game Preview: Grant Lancers vs. University Wildcats

The Grant Lancers are taking a road trip to take on the University Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Grant sitting on six straight victories and University on three.

On Monday, Grant was able to grind out a solid win over Chavez, taking the game 3-1.

Grant had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-23, 25-21, 25-22.

Meanwhile, University made easy work of Hamilton on Monday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Grant's record now sits at 20-4. As for University, their record is now 10-5.

Grant couldn't quite get it done against University when the teams last played back in November of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Lancers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
