Picayune proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Pascagoula Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Picayune also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2019.

Picayune's record now sits at 3-10-1. As for Pascagoula, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Picayune will be home for the holidays to greet Pearl River Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pearl River Central's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Pascagoula, they will be playing at home against Gautier at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gautier will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Pascagoula surely won't give up without a fight.
