Soccer Recap: Laurel Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Laurel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the High Point Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Laurel of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Andy Flores, who's now up to three this season.

Laurel's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Laurel will take on Bowie at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for High Point, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge City College at 4:30 p.m. on the 30th.
