Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Richard Carlson stepped things up a notch to give South Beloit the 'W'. Carlson scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances. The effort marked the most stolen bases he has had since back in April of 2024.

Carlson's strong effort led South Beloit over Westminster Christian and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
