Vicksburg can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Edwardsburg Eddies 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since May 8, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Ella Luegge, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenzie Rose, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Vicksburg's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Edwardsburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.
