Recap: St. Paul Cardinals vs. Central Texas Christian Lions
The St. Paul Cardinals fell victim to the Central Texas Christian Lions''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 40-0 defeat at the hands of the Lions. St. Paul was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Central Texas Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Tabor Tyson was a one-man wrecking crew for Central Texas Christian as he rushed for 266 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown. Tyson is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last eight games he's played.
St. Paul now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Central Texas Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-4.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing New Braunfels Christian Academy the next time they take the field. Central Texas Christian will head out to face New Braunfels Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while St. Paul will host them at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
