Alpaugh won the last time they faced Riverdale, and Aydette Ontiveros did her part to make sure it happened again. The Buffalos were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cowboys on Tuesday thanks in part to Ontiveros, who had 14 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-14.

When it comes to explaining why Riverdale lost, don't look at Audree Flores. Despite the final result, she had 28 assists.

The victory made it two in a row for Alpaugh and bumps their season record up to 2-4. As for Riverdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Alpaugh will square off against Maricopa at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverdale, they are taking a road trip to take on Mendota at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
