Start had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 62-58 W against the Southview Cougars. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Start's record now sits at 6-2. As for Southview, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Coming up, Start will look to defend their home court on Friday against Waite at 6:30 p.m. The Spartans will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 75.11 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Southview, they will head out on the road to square off against Bowling Green at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
