Sumter is 8-2 against Lakewood since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Gamecocks will venture away from home to take on the Gators at 7:30 p.m. Sumter will be strutting in after a victory while Lakewood will be coming in after a loss.

Sumter not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since January 31st (when they won 64-19). They took their game with ease, bagging a 74-44 win over A.C. Flora. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gamecocks.

Meanwhile, Lakewood ended up a good deal behind Bethune-Bowman on Saturday and lost 69-50.

Sumter's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lakewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Sumter couldn't quite get it done against Lakewood when the teams last played back in December of 2024 as they fell 51-40. Can the Gamecocks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
