Football Recap: Locke Gets the Win

The Locke Saints were able to grind out a solid win over the Verbum Dei Jesuit Eagles on Friday, taking the game 20-13. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Saints.

The victory got Locke back to even at 3-3. As for Verbum Dei Jesuit, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Locke will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Jordan at 7:30 p.m. on October 10. The game will give the Saints their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Verbum Dei Jesuit, they are taking a road trip to take on Manual Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
