Mountain Home kept up with Wood River until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. The result was nothing new for Wood River, who have now won eight matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Mountain Home with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Claire Buchwalter, Skyler Jensen, and Logan Higgins.

Wood River pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four matches. As for Mountain Home, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-2 record this season.

Wood River does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mountain Home, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Burley on the 9th.
