Basketball Recap: Mishicot Takes a Loss

Mishicot lost against Oostburg back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mishicot Indians were beaten by the Oostburg Flying Dutchmen 71-22. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 311th, while the Flying Dutchmen are ranked tenth).

Mishicot has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Oostburg, the win was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-1.

Mishicot wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-47 victory against Sheboygan Christian on the 13th. As for Oostburg, they have also already played their next contest, a 64-47 win against St. Mary Catholic on the 13th.
