Baseball Recap: Western Tech & Environmental Science Takes a Loss

The matchup between Western Tech & Environmental Science and Hereford on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Wolverines lost 19-3 to the Bulls. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Bulls: they've now lost six in a row.

Western Tech & Environmental Science saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Travis Knipe, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Western Tech & Environmental Science's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Hereford, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Western Tech & Environmental Science will challenge Loch Raven at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolverines are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Hereford, they will take on Towson on Thursday.
