Football Recap: Chouteau-Mazie Takes a Loss

Chouteau-Mazie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Hartshorne Miners, falling 66-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 46-8 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Chouteau-Mazie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Hartshorne, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Chouteau-Mazie will challenge rival Haskell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hartshorne is set to square off against their familiar foe Warner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
