Basketball Recap: Braden Suggs and Dylan Morrison Secure Win for Ardrey Kell + How To Watch

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Ardrey Kell's strategy against Porter Ridge on Tuesday. The Knights took down the Pirates 68-50. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Leading Ardrey Kell to victory were Dylan Morrison and Braden Suggs. Morrison went 5-for-9 on his way to 21 points in addition to six steals and five assists, while Suggs shot 50% from the field en route to 20 points along with four steals and three blocks. Suggs' big performance that evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Stankavage, who posted four points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Ardrey Kell was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They racked up eight more assists than Porter Ridge's also-impressive total of ten.

When it comes to explaining why Porter Ridge lost, don't look at Rai Elmore. Despite the final result, he shot 64% from the field to rack up 14 points and five boards. Cole Dotson also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Ardrey Kell's record is now 6-2. As for Porter Ridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Ardrey Kell and Legion Collegiate Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will be up against the Lancers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 66.83 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Porter Ridge, they have already played their next game, a 69-41 loss against Cuthbertson on the 12th.
