Volleyball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Venice

With a playoff win on the line, Venice rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Riverview Sarasota Rams. The victory was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won six matchups in a row.

Venice had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-19.

Amelia Anselmi was nothing short of spectacular: she had 40 assists and eight digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 15 games she's played.
