Soccer Recap: Hazel Green Comes Up Short

Hazel Green was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the Westbrook Christian Warriors. Charli Cantrell was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Hazel Green's goal came courtesy of Reanna Chapman, who's now up to 25 this season.

Hazel Green now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Westbrook Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6-1 record this season.

Hazel Green will venture away from home to square off against Buckhorn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westbrook Christian has already played their next match (against Foley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
