Basketball Game Recap: Excel Academy vs. Trinity Christian Academy Warriors

Excel Academy had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 67-22 loss at the hands of Trinity Christian Academy on Tuesday.

Leading Trinity Christian Academy to victory were Cenzie Pyeatt and Faith Nutt. Pyeatt scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds and 7 steals, while Nutt scored 21 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Pyeatt has scored at least 25% of Trinity Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Stephens, who scored 8 points along with 6 assists and 5 steals.

Excel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Trinity Christian Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
