Basketball Game Preview: Davenport Broncos vs. Gainesville Hurricanes

Having just played yesterday, the Davenport Broncos will jump right back in to play the Gainesville Hurricanes at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Davenport is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Davenport is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 5th on Thursday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Fleming Island an easy 85-64 win. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 312th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 36th).

Meanwhile, Gainesville didn't have quite enough to beat Andrew Jackson on Thursday and fell 53-50.

Davenport now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Gainesville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
