Volleyball Recap: Springer Falls Short of Logan in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Springer can now relate to. They came up short against the Logan Longhorns on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Longhorns recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Springer's offense was headlined by Olivia Burton and Brenna Duran, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Abigail Eppler and her 25 assists.

Logan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jadyn Garcia, who had 20 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Garcia has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Charli Fuller, who had 15 assists and 12 digs.

Springer's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Logan, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

Springer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Grady on the 14th. As for Logan, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Elida on the 14th.
