Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Danville). They came out on top against the Mount Ida Lions by a score of 26-21 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Little Johns, who have now won three games in a row.

Danville's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Mount Ida, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 13-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Danville will take on Westside at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Ida, they will welcome Centerpoint at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
