Basketball Recap: Aiden Madden's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Kern Valley over Desert

Kern Valley lost against Desert back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Kern Valley Broncs fell 57-44 to the Desert Scorpions. The Broncs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kern Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden Madden, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Zane Carver, who scored eight points.

Kern Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Desert, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kern Valley will head out to take on Frazier Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Kern Valley is facing Frazier Mountain at the right time seeing as Frazier Mountain is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Desert, they will face off against Bishop Union at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
