Soccer Preview: Seneca Hunts for Offense After a Cold Stretch

The Seneca Golden Eagles will challenge the Freehold Boro Colonials at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Seneca's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Seneca was handed a three-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Cherry Hill West a 1-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Freehold Boro entered their game against Rumson-Fair Haven on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Colonials fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2.

Freehold Boro's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Seneca, the victory improved their record to 2-3.
