Soccer Recap: No Winner in Palatine's First Game

Palatine was not able to secure the win in their season-opener on Thursday. Neither they nor the Mundelein Mustangs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Allie Whitcomb and Jolee Waddington scored all three of Palatine's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

With that draw, Mundelein's record moves to 1-0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palatine will have to wait a while for a more definitive result, as their next game is a ways away: they'll take on Waukegan at 6:30 p.m. on March 31st. Mundelein will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against McHenry at 6:30 p.m. on April 2nd.
