Softball Recap: Evergreen Plainsmen vs. Prairie Falcons
Evergreen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 20-10 to the Prairie Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Evergreen of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
For Prairie's part, Mackenzie Moore was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk).
