Football Recap: Cordova Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 34 points the game before, Cordova was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were outmatched by the Antelope Titans and fell 42-8. The Lancers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Titans from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Antelope got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was David Yakubovskiy out in front who rushed for 46 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The Titans also got help from Jaycion Leblanc, who showed off his sure hands for 81 receiving yards.

Cordova now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Antelope, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cordova will face off against Destiny Christian Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Antelope, they will challenge Grant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
