Football Recap: Cordova Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cordova had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-4 to make it six. They were beaten by the Antelope Titans 42-8. The Lancers were not able to make up for their loss to the Titans from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Even if they lost, Cordova's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Julian Drahn with two. He is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as he's now posted at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

As for Antelope, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-5. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Antelope's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from David Yakubovskiy, who rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns. Jaycion Leblanc also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.

Cordova didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-0 defeat against Destiny Christian Academy on the 17th. As for Antelope, they have also already played their next contest, a 49-10 loss against Grant on the 17th.
