Football Recap: South Fort Myers Takes a Loss

After flying high against Gateway last Thursday, South Fort Myers came back down to earth. The Wolfpack lost 43-18 to the Riverdale Raiders on Friday. Wolfpack fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Raiders since Friday.

South Fort Myers' defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Riverdale, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Fort Myers will welcome Barron Collier at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverdale, they will take on Gateway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
