Volleyball Recap: Camrie Spurgin Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Indiana Math & Science Academy North

Tri picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Indiana Math & Science Academy North Knights by a score of 2-0.

Tri got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Camrie Spurgin out in front who had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces Spurgin has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Ava Houchins, who had seven digs and four aces.

They weren't the only good server: Tri was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. They are 7-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Tri is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Indiana Math & Science Academy North, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Tri didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Non Varsity Opponent on the 20th. As for Indiana Math & Science Academy North, they will take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
