It was a good run, but McCluer North unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eureka Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stars of the 62-54 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2020.

McCluer North's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Eureka, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

McCluer North has already played their next matchup (against Hazelwood Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Eureka will challenge Lindbergh at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
