Basketball Recap: Colleton County Comes Up Short

Colleton County was the 51-42 winner over Hampton County when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Colleton County Cougars took a 49-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hampton County Hurricanes. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colleton County's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Hampton County, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Colleton County will take on Ridgeland in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Colleton County is facing Ridgeland at the right time seeing as Ridgeland is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Hampton County, they will be taking part in a tournament against Hilton Head Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Hilton Head Prep has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
