Football Recap: Jay M. Robinson's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Friday + How To Watch

While Jay M. Robinson put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Salisbury. The Bulldogs took down the Hornets 14-0. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Hornets are ranked 137th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Aury Greenfield was his usual excellent self, rushing for 105 yards and one touchdown on only five carries, while also throwing for 60 yards and one TD while completing 71.4% of his passes. Those 105 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Jay M. Robinson also got a significant boost from Lj Watson, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 120 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Jay M. Robinson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 255 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive games.

Jay M. Robinson's record now sits at 4-1. As for Salisbury, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
