Football Game Preview: Butler Golden Tornado vs. University Hawks

Two dominant backs in Mark Klemz and Brody Kehler are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Butler Golden Tornado will look to defend their home field on Friday against the University Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Butler took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 44-27 win over Connellsville. The Golden Tornado pushed the score to 44-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, University faced Fairmont Senior in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Hawks came out on top against the Polar Bears by a score of 37-28.

Butler better keep an eye on Harrison Helbig. He was instrumental in University's win, throwing for 240 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in one rushing score. Helbig is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Butler's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for University, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
