Baseball Recap: Warden Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Warden's offense. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (17-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Warden's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Chewelah, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Warden has already played their next matchup, a 27-0 loss against Colfax on the 4th. As for Chewelah, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Reardan at 3:00 p.m. on the 14th.
