Basketball Game Preview: Africentric Early College Nubians vs. Clear Fork Colts

The Africentric Early College Nubians will face off against the Clear Fork Colts at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Africentric Early College comes in on three and Clear Fork on six.

Africentric Early College is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 46-38 win over Fredericktown. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Nubians' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 334th, while the Freddies are ranked 88th).

Meanwhile, Clear Fork hadn't done well against Willard recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Clear Fork blew past Willard, posting a 61-34 win. The Colts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 26 points or more this season.

Clear Fork pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points over those games. As for Africentric Early College, their win bumped their record up to 18-7.
