Basketball Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short

Freedom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Charles J. Colgan Sharks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-57 last Monday.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Charles J. Colgan, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freedom will challenge Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Freedom is facing Mountain View at the right time seeing as Mountain View is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Charles J. Colgan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Potomac Senior at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Charles J. Colgan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
