The Hoover Vikings's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They strolled past Lake with points to spare, taking the game 41-23. That 41-23 margin sets a new team best for Hoover this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hoover to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hudson Pringle, who scored six points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pringle has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Hunter Hershberger, who scored six points.
Hoover now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Lake, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Hoover will finish 2023 at home by hosting Chaney at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Lake will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Dover at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
