Recap: Bothell Cougars vs. Inglemoor Vikings
The Bothell Cougars were the 57-54 winner over the Inglemoor Vikings when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Bothell's rough 74-53 defeat to Inglemoor on Monday might stick with them for a while. Bothell found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and rack up 11 fewer assists than your opponent.
Bothell's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaylen Mclaughlin, who scored 9 points. Another player making a difference was Kingston Mclaughlin, who scored 7 points.
Inglemoor got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Reuhen Bhalod out in front who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Bhalod has scored at least 25% of Inglemoor's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aman Sterling, who scored 23 points.
Bothell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Inglemoor, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Bothell will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Glacier Peak at 7:00 p.m. As for Inglemoor, they will head out on the road to face off against Meadowdale at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
