Basketball Recap: Severna Park Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

Severna Park won the last time they faced Arundel and things went their way on Monday too. The Severna Park Falcons took down the Arundel Wildcats 50-33. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Wildcats are ranked 245th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Severna Park has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. Arundel is on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-22.

Coming up, Severna Park will be playing in front of their home fans against Arundel at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Arundel, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-36 loss against Northeast on the 24th.
