Recap: Parrish Community Bulls vs. Ida Baker Bulldogs
The Parrish Community Bulls entered their tilt with the Ida Baker Bulldogs with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Parrish Community claimed a resounding 67-34 victory over Ida Baker on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Parrish Community has managed all season.
Parrish Community was led to victory by Dylan Higgins and Malakai Cuffy. Higgins scored 16 points along with three steals, while Cuffy scored 16 points along with five assists and two steals. Higgins hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Taye Green, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Parrish Community is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Ida Baker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-11.
Parrish Community will be playing at home against Lemon Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lemon Bay is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Ida Baker, they will head out on the road to challenge Cypress Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cypress Lake focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Friday.
