It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shamokin Area can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 48-47 to the Danville Ironmen. The Indians' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jenssyn Shuey, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 15 points and seven boards. Rylan Price was another key player, putting up eight points.

Shamokin Area's loss dropped their record down to 23-4. As for Danville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-7.

As of now, neither Shamokin Area nor Danville have any future games scheduled.
