Soccer Recap: Pinson Valley Takes a Loss

Pinson Valley and Mountain Brook pushed the score to 7-1 the last time they played Mountain Brook, but on Wednesday defenses reigned supreme. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The loss continues a trend for Pinson Valley in their meetings with Mountain Brook: they've now lost seven in a row.

Pinson Valley now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Mountain Brook, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3-1.

Looking ahead, Pinson Valley will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Gardendale at 7:00 p.m. As for Mountain Brook, they will head out to take on Huffman at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Huffman will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mountain Brook surely won't give up without a fight.
