Soccer Recap: Yonkers Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Yonkers had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Fox Lane Foxes by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Yonkers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Fox Lane's victory bumped their record up to 6-3-4.

Yonkers does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fox Lane, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Ossining on the 14th.
