Basketball Recap: Holy Name Comes Up Short

Holy Name was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 95-44 loss at the hands of the Archbishop Hoban Knights. The game marked the Green Wave's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Archbishop Hoban's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyler Shadeed led the charge by going 6 of 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 18 points and three steals. What's more, Shadeed also racked up two boards, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Owen Hamilton was another key player, going 6 for 9 en route to 15 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Holy Name's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Archbishop Hoban, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.
